There has been an accident, due to an earthquake, resulting in troubles of Belle SVD detectors. Initially, the power consumption of one circuit found to be abnormal but the trouble was identified not as the power supply but as somewhere down stream, resulting in an interrupt of the data taking. We opened the endcap detector. We lost great deal of efficiencies. Why? see the below nasty picture:

Yes, things like this happen all the time. The repair work was finished and the Belle detector is running again. I heard that by doing this exercise two of ECL cables are incorrectly connected resulting in modification in ECL unpacking codes. Ouch!
